Bitcoin News: ETFs Pull In $2.39 Billion in Strongest Week Since October 2025

US spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded their best week of inflows since October 2025. Between September 21 and September 25, 2026, the funds drew a combined $2.39 billion, with every one of the five trading days finishing positive.

The inflows kept coming even as Bitcoin's price pulled back from around $87,000 later in the week. Investors added exposure through that pullback rather than pausing, turning five consecutive sessions into the strongest weekly Bitcoin ETF result in nearly a year.

    Bitcoin ETF Daily Inflow Breakdown

Daily inflows for the week ending September 25, 2026:

    • Monday: $998.95 million, the largest single-day Bitcoin ETF inflow of 2026, and the ninth-largest on record

    • Tuesday: $714.75 million

    • Wednesday: $346.98 million

    • Thursday: $190.65 million

    • Friday: $134.47 million

    • Weekly total: $2.39 billion

Monday set the pace for the week, and while the daily pace cooled through the remaining sessions, none of the five days broke into negative territory.

Which Bitcoin ETFs Led the Week

    Fund-by-fund breakdown for the week:

    • BlackRock (IBIT): $1.16 billion, the largest share of the weekly total

    • Fidelity (FBTC): $701.6 million

    • Ark & 21Shares (ARKB): $294.7 million

    • Morgan Stanley (MSBT): $203.3 million

    • WisdomTree (BTCW): the only fund to finish the week negative, losing $4 million

Between them, BlackRock and Fidelity accounted for close to $1.86 billion of the week's $2.39 billion total, or about 78%.

Main News: A Sharp Turnaround From the Prior Week

The $2.39 billion result marked a sharp jump from the week before, when Bitcoin ETF flows were close to flat.

This result also helped push 2026 year-to-date Bitcoin ETF flows back into positive territory. According to data reported by Bloomberg, approximately $4.6 billion has entered US spot Bitcoin ETFs since August 19, 2026, when the US Treasury signaled an expansion of long-dated bond buybacks.

Bloomberg ETF analyst James Seyffart noted that the average Bitcoin ETF investor's estimated cost basis sits around $82,000. Bitcoin trading above that level returned many holders to profit, and flow and regulatory-filing data suggest longer-term allocators have generally continued building positions since the products launched in 2024.

Other Crypto ETFs: Ether, Solana, XRP, Zcash and HYPE

Bitcoin was not the only asset seeing ETF demand that week. Other categories also posted net inflows:

    • Ether ETFs: $689.88 million for the week, a rebound after losing $140 million the previous week. Daily figures included $269.98 million on Monday, $162.31 million on Tuesday, $104.63 million on Wednesday, $66.01 million on Thursday, and $86.95 million on Friday.

    • Solana ETFs: $188.22 million for the week, including $86.67 million on Friday alone. Net Solana ETF assets ended the week at around $1.96 billion, meaning the week's inflow represented close to 10% of the category's total asset base.

    • XRP ETFs: $75.59 million for the week, with fresh demand from Tuesday through Friday, capped by a $22.65 million Friday inflow.

    • Zcash (ZEC) ETFs: $35.17 million for the week, driven largely by a $32.81 million Tuesday inflow.

    • HYPE ETFs: $9.25 million for the week, despite a $1.58 million Wednesday withdrawal.

Why the Broader ETF Demand Matters

Strong US growth data, elevated Treasury yields, and shifting inflation expectations created volatility across crypto prices during the week. Despite that backdrop, ETF investors kept allocating capital across multiple asset categories rather than concentrating only in Bitcoin.

That breadth, spanning Bitcoin, Ether, Solana, XRP, Zcash and HYPE funds in the same week, points to institutional demand extending beyond a single asset.
